It's a parsley based crust/stuffing - you finely cut and mix (or blend) parsley, rosemary, garlic, lemon zest, olive oil, salt and pepper.

That's actually pretty interesting, but I was making a Muriel's Wedding reference.

Aha, I thought I'd bought two packs of ready to roast potato/carrot/squash from Waitrose, but I'd mistakenly purchased one of mashed vegetables by accident. So it's roast veges + mashed veges (which I do not like).

It was pretty good, if I do say so myself. Could've done with 5 mins less in the oven, so that it was a bit rarer. Tasty stuff from a pretty reasonably priced cut of lamb.

On topic, I'm an ideological mini-archist, having not been convinced that the state is not a necessary evil. Politically, however, I'm merely pragmatic. Screw talk about philosophical objections to the Civil Rights Act, let's get rid of the friggin' NEA and NEH and a dozen or so other "it only cost...

I watched part of "The Two Escobars" today, it was pretty good.
Haven't seen that yet but "June 17, 1994" was pretty damn good.

The "University of Vierginia" is pretty shitty proof reading by anyone's standards, let alone Nature Biotechnology's.

I was gonna go for the traditional Burden of Dreams quote, but the above ( Grizzly Man ?) works. "Kinski says [the jungle] is full of erotic elements. It's not so much erotic, but full of obscenity. Nature here is vile and base. I wouldn't see anything erotic here. I see fornication and asphyxiation...

swans Oooh, bit of no wave. Cool. There's a couple of tracks from Use Your Illusion II that say "this guy's a joker but he knows what he's doing." :) If someone plays Off to Battle by Model 500 then they're obviously a legend. If they drop Josephine (la version francaise!) by Chris Rea then they're...

music - tunes that say "you're at a party ..."

When you're at a social gathering and have had a few drinks, what tunes definitively say "you're at a party, your inhibitions have significantly reduced, it's time to have fun"? For me it's Luna and Lætitia Sadier's Bonnie and Clyde cover, and Yello's Lost Again (Greg Wilson credit to the edit, um, ...

Re: What are YOU looking at?

Breaking Bad is really, really good. I've seen all but the most recent season finale, and ... it's good. +10 It's like 'shout from the rooftops good'. Also I'm glad it's centered around crystal meth, which really seems to have very few good qualities at all. If it was about marijuana I'd just snort...
