For example I think like maybe 10 or so movies ever actually got the sound of a silencer correct.
That many?

Edit - and let's not forget the removable silencers that somehow thread INSIDE the barrel. No, that would not cause any issues with a projectile exiting said barrel at high speeds...

I would need to reread about the case to come to a firmer conclusion, but the lack of charges by the prosecutor is a big tell for me. Given they usually take the "charge them all and let the jury sort it out" attitude (which then often leads to the accused taking a plea to a lesser and the prosecuto...

Half way through the one and only season of HBO's star studded Luck , created by Deadwood' s David Milch. Odd that it didn't get a second season given the love for it. The criticism I find online centers mostly on what a slow burn it is, so does much of the praise. Oddly no one mentions the thing t...

"Woke" is like "cool;" if you have to apply it to yourself, you have all the evidence you need that you're not. I've heard a lot of complaints about men who talk endlessly about their feminism but won't help do the dishes. Do you actually hear them, or just read about them in the online discourse? ...

Has anyone watched El Camino? Any spoiler-free comments? I'm not sure I really care about of the remaining characters in the Breaking Bad world. I like Better Call Saul because I like Bob Odenkirk and it has Mike, but a post BB show won't have either of them.

When I last looked a few years ago, the only options to watch The Prisoner were buying the out-of-print blu-ray set or paying Amazon to stream it (on top of the usual Prime monthly fee). Now it appears to be available for free through both the internet archive and Shout Factory: https://archive.org/...

Re: cars and how they get that way

I assume the Honda HRV and Toyota CHR were the result of car designers trying to see just how ugly they can make cars and still get people to buy them. I thought the CRV and Rav4 were bad, but clearly those were just warm-ups.
