I suspect the pet store doesn’t have food grade activated charcoal. Of course you can get a tub of it on amazon for dirt cheap.
For something like activated charcoal, I'd take my chances on aquarium grade.

I also wonder if superhero fatigue is going to finally start setting in at some point. I don't plan on seeing every Marvel movie as they come out as I did a few years ago. I'll wait for the reviews and make a decision. And in most cases if I do decide I need to see it, I'm still waiting for blu-ray.

So my father called late last night needing help setting up a gmail account. I successfully walked him through it. Half the effort was convincing him that what he'd done prior to calling me was unsalvageable.

I just watched a couple Weezy Waiter videos. It don't remember what they were about. But he's got snappy delivery, wry humor, and mastery of the edit as punchline. That's all I really want in a YouTube channel.

Is there a more successful snake oil out there than emergen-c? $10 for thirty packets of vitamin c and sugar. That has to be killer profit margin. Shit. I can get 500 five-hundred milligram vitamin C pills and five kilos of sugar for that at the Great Satan Store Walmart. I noticed that at Rite-Aid...

There's a pretty popular hot take among film critics and others that the Incredibles movies are uncut Randian propaganda. This is a decent video essay on how they are actually more complicated than that.

As part of the post-mortem lionization of GHWB, CNN published his successor letter to Clinton, making me wonder what Trump's letter will be like, if he even writes one.
Well he's got 26 to choose from. But we all know which one he'll pick.

Hand sewing is SO fucking tedious. Even fagot stitching sucks (not in the fun way when you think of that word, either). No wonder people invented sewing machines. "In less than a minute! See how close and even the stitches are. From now on, my clothes will be perfect. Made by machine! No more handm...

Is there a reusable solution for ripening fruit like the paper bag but not made of paper? The closest I can find is the Avocado Sock , and I am not paying $18 + $7 shipping for a motherfucking sock. The only trick I've ever heard is putting a banana in with other unripened fruit, and the ethylene (...

We take no responsibility for him. He's actually a quintessential example of another phenomenon altogether. People ...

Ethylene "ripening" isn't really ripening thought. Putting stuff in a bag makes it turn color and rot, but it's not as good as leaving it sit alone on the counter a day or two and nowhere near as good as vine/tree ripened.

I ordered a guitar part online. You would not want to live in a world where economies of scale weren't broadly functioning. To a first order approximation it's the difference between impoverishment and modernity. No of course not.
