Binge watched 'The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell'. It's quality food porn for goths. I am never going to make any of that stuff, but it looks damn good.

So, apropos of nothing, is one of y'all "Barrio Lemieux" @fuggititsover on Twitter? I have no idea who that is, and said person responded to me and Nick Gillespie about a post I made. The only people I can think of that would reply to me and Nick would be y'all or maybe some of the other reprobates ...

Yes! We would safely hobble the Canadians and Scandinavians during winters—as well as give opportunities to Southern hemisphere countries during the northern winter. But, as mentioned, like all time zone systems, it falls down near the poles. In the dark, you can't see the Canadians coming.... Ther...

Whole council meetings spent on abortion, daylight savings time, and the oxford comma.
At least while we're pedanting out on the oxford comma, we're not passing legislation.

Also, mayo is both a condiment and an ingredient and infinitely superior to Miracle Whip.

He’s technically a US person as he has a green card. If we get to claim universal jurisdiction, other people do too. As I understand it, it's a little unusual to go into an embassy, vanish, and then turn up dead, even if you are a citizen of that country. The story I read earlier today was that the...

I lurve it when people bitch about something that hasn't been done and you tell them you are waiting on info from them.
"Well, I sent you that 2 weeks ago."

I didn't get it. Resend it, please. Oh, you didn't actually send it? Hmm. Going to apologize now? No? Duly noted in the book of grievances.

I have a hand knitted dick sock, because my stock response for years to the question "What are you wearing to <event>?" has been "Flips-flops and a dick sock". My mother-in-law got tired of me saying this, so she knitted me a dick sock. I'm not sure how she thought that was going to help, since afte...

I dimly recall SUVs have different rules regarding safety and emissions as well, so you don't have to put as much engineering into meeting the standards. But that may have changed.
