this twitter thread has some context/analysis that basically puts Alex Jones in the category of dipshit, but not child p*** procurer/provider.

My wife watches that one. It is rather tropey as you say, but it does vary between 'stupid hippies' and 'hippies that actually know what they're doing'

https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/u-s-already-in-recession-fed-will-cut-rates-back-to-zero-rosenberg-1.1273419 I'm not sure how serious I should take this. My wife's school does STEAM. I hadn't heard of STREAM until just right now. Looked it up, and said 'really?'

The 'refrigerator that looks like a pantry door' is an ok look at really high price points (like 10k for a fridge price points).

So it's not something I would ever do.

Re: If We Build It, They'll Probably Still Come

Jesus Christ, the Mexican government is like those parents that respond to their kid throwing a temper tantrum by giving the kid what they want and then rewarding them with ice cream after it all. Are they? Or are they saying 'ok we'll go out for ice cream tomorrow', the kid stops the tantrum, and ...

This has plenty of precedent, as noted, but what is kinda new is that all our martime recon aircraft are now jets, not props, so I am concerned that low speed agility is not as good (and max power is a little more)

Re: What's New at the Bijou?

Tbh, after all the hype, I found it good, but not a great as advertised. (Specifically, I feel had 2nd act problems - the absurdity of the openning wasn't heightened enough, and the parallel plot with the orchestra recording wasn't tied into the main plot that well)

Re: Putin on the Writs

Essentially yes that’s my argument. Close elections have highly agitated bases who feel they should have won. They will each pick on this or that micro thing as the reason. A high bar for impeachment mitigates the idea that losing an election just means you go to the impeachment round all the time ...

STRONG SUSPICION: Some staffer noted that the McCain was nearby, and was terrified that Trump would see the name and start riffing on how horrible McCain was while overseas in one of his rambles, and asked the Navy to move the ship to keep that from happening. My best guess for 'keep McCain out of ...

I hadn't looked that closely at the aircrew patch and didn't know it had a pic of Trump. That does change my opinion a bit. (It's a deal, but not the biggest deal) Though the likeness on the patch does look more like Ted McGinley than Trump I suppose that means the aircrew will be cancelled next sea...

What if the Germans give it a go? Again? Maybe. But it's still another couple decades before anyone is of marriageable age. Ok, I am missing your point in this thread. I thought you were suggesting someone try to invade the UK. Or are you suggesting that somebody try to marry into the royal family?...
