I actually prefer pods with tall walls to individual cubicles, at least for my line of work. Half-height walls aren't worth anything, imo.
Full cubes means walls you can't see over.

I don't know Carrabbas.

All of the chain restaurants are too loud.

Elizabeth Bruenig is a socialist and very Catholic, possibly with Tridentine sympathies, but she seems like a very nice person. I can't imagine that guy's number is anywhere near fifty given how tone deaf that is. It suggests a lack of smoothness. Though I suppose he could have been an Adonis in his youth.

The Cheesecake factory is much better than its direct competition (below McCormick and Schmick's by a good way, but better than TGIFriday's, which I am not against).

I don't think Franken's troubles will go away immediately, if at all. If it had been 1980 rather than 2006, he might get away more cleanly, but him in 2006 is basically the same person as he is today.

Pfft. Trumpkins are never going to turn on him about pussy-grabbing. And Blues won't turn on Clinton in any meaningful way in his lifetime—and when they do turn, they'll all have been retroactively abhorring him the whole time. And yes, Blues are already starting to go the we've been spending almos...

Re: No touching! - sexual impropriety thread

To my mind, the order of seriousness (least serious to most):

1. Franken
2. Clinton - Monica
3. Moore - Barely Legal
4. Trump - Pussy grabbing
5. Moore - Illegal
6. Clinton - rapes

The top two are much more forgivable than the next one, and the bottom three are unforgivable.

It's cool that there seems to be a general war brewing in the Middle East. We won't get dragged into that, and it won't destroy the world economy for a decade.

It is good to hurt the best things in Georgia, Florida, Texas, North Carolina, and Ohio. Especially Ohio, NC, and Florida, since they might actually vote blue.

I'm pretty sure the dam breaching is exactly why McConnell isn't calling for a resignation and hoping an ethics investigation will allow things to cool off. Because the Franken accusations are closer to the first act of the play than the third act . Yeah, if Frankenstein doesn't survive this, there...

Dhex needs to get back to a place where he can talk to actually people socially. At this rate, he will be speaking an entirely new language by age fifty, unable to communicate with anyone else. The phenomenon will be called "dhex's aphasia."

Thanks. Brett Ratner has also been accused of harassment and general assholery.
Gal Godot refused to be in Wonder Woman 2 if he was involved.
Evidently WB dumped him.

I don't see it in the military/cop shows. Gen-Xers and Millennials eat those up, too, and those shows aren't all about 60-somethings saving the world or holding the thin blue line against minori—I mean, crime. I specifically mean NCIS, and Mark Harmon is 66 years old. So, one show with a Boomer lea...
