But look at how many official and unofficial rules he's broken already, and gotten away with. Again, we're not even at seven full months in office. And Congress isn't going to get together Friday and vote him out. I would not risk money betting that he's in office next January, though. Absent some ...

A serious/respectable one
This is where I shrug, because I could never tell the difference.

But then, this is why I tried conservatism for a few months and could never hack it.

What is the greatest act of violence we can pin on antifa? That guy who shot at congresspersons? If he doesn't count, (I'm not sure he does, Tbh) then Richard Spencer getting punched, plus the smashing of Starbucks windows and that one limo driver/owner that got his ride torched. I don't think he d...

Boxing. Just... can't wrap my head around the appeal. You don't find the prospect of watching two ignorant, usually poor men trying to render each other unconscious for the entertainment of others appealing? How odd. Be fair. Sometimes it's for their own entertainment. Or because they really like h...

Part of the demand for certain types of labor is doing things when they need them be done. I'd resist anything that looked like "let's all close shop so it isn't unfair" because that's just st a middle finger to time sensitive customers.
I'm not sure who this was in response to.

Dude lawyers get paid more in general because they are in types of law roles that are on call on demand or require immediate responses. That's the Claudia Goldin thing. The research I've seen says it's not about demand so much as it's about motherhood. Childless women are more or less comparable to...

I'd find the idea that men are naturally more drawn to computer programming more compelling if a large number of the original programmers of computer systems hadn't been female. Maybe he should have argued that it was because women are naturally more drawn to low-prestige work.

Every prosecutor knows a judge who, if not exactly a rubber stamp, isn't a hard sell for a warrant, either. De jure, obtaining approval by a judge of competent authority for a warrant and conducting the search in accordance with the bounds of that warrant constitutes due process; de facto, that oft...

Any country with a self-sufficient nuclear power system has the hardest part of getting a nuke. That's why Europe and the US are so eager to provide "technical assistance" to anyone who wants to build a nuclear plant. They give you the fuel on the cheap so you have no excuse to make your own, and yo...
