Re: Pleading the 25th

I still can't figure out why people are insistent that the polls were absolute failures last year. The national-level polls were pretty much dead on; the votes were just too concentrated for it to matter in the EC. State-level polls were a different matter, but even then, statisticians were wary of ...

Re: Pleading the 25th

Can anybody point me to moderate Republicans primarying out a nut in favor of a moderate? I've seen them hold off insurgents, but once the seats fall, they're gone. Congressional gerrymandering all but guarantees it. They're already setting up how they're going to rationalize continuing to make unha...

Re: Orange is the new President

I'm aware, but that doesn't falsify my statement. The cabinet doesn't have to wait for congress, they can act without congress, and they can force the issue. I'd bet if the cabinet invokes the 25th amendment, congress would go along. But Congress wouldn't act first. You think the GOP could wrangle ...

Jennifer- section 4 can be invoked by the cabinet. They don't have to wait for congress to act. In that situation, all he has to do to un-invoke it is to send a letter to Congress saying "hey guys, I'm still the Pres, lol." Then, they can un-un-invoke it by sending another letter, at which point Co...

Please break links using spaces, not line breaks. Putting line breaks back together on mobile is a pain in the ass. Also, you shouldn't make a taxonomy if you're not even capable of dividing your examples properly. Franzen makes page turners? And is not pretentious, "writer's writer" dreck? That's n...

Back in the day you didn't need great QBs to win games because you could pay all of your all pros to stick around forever. Look at Terry Bradshaw's numbers. They weren't terribly impressive, but with that team around him you could have put almost anyone in there and had success. Take Manning away f...
