Re: It's all good man!

So am I the only one that's still wrapped up in this show? There's a fuckton of analysis I'd like to talk about, but not if no one else is interested. I'm behind. I still haven't watched S3. I think it's a great show, but it's almost too much at times. Not too much gratuitous violence or darkness o...

Has a True Detective S1 smell
This comment got me to watch the trailer. I'll put this movie as a maybe. The TD S1 smell is faint. There might be something interesting, or it just might be a b-grade revenge movie.

Here’s the thing I don’t get about AZ senate. How the fuck are the people who were right about Iraq the bad guys?
I assume this is rhetorical since you're aware it's Arizona.

Re: Market Failure!

Cable TV must be fucking amazing if people are willing to not only pay $100+ a month for it but also endure a quarterly call to shitty customer service threatening to quit if they don't get a lower rate. The pricing where I live is about $100 from Cox for internet + cable and about $120 for just in...

Re: Market Failure!

I hate it when a business with a monthly fee offers a cheaper rate to new customers than existing ones. I don't mean a cheaper first month or first 6 months or whatever, but a cheaper permanent rate and won't offer it to existing customers.

Re: Random Observations C.A (306 pages is enough)

I have a hand knitted dick sock, because my stock response for years to the question "What are you wearing to <event>?" has been "Flips-flops and a dick sock". My mother-in-law got tired of me saying this, so she knitted me a dick sock. I'm not sure how she thought that was going to help, since aft...

Admit it: if the link just said "fat bear week" with no picture or explanation, you would've been disappointed by what loaded.

The phrase 'performance underpants' is bizarro-worldly.
Okay, real talk, performance undewear is amazing.

David Archy underwear is just so much better than anything else I've ever worn.
I like Ex Officio for hiking and yoga.

Yes, Amazon, clearly the fact that I've bought men's running shoes and men's performance undapants means you should bombard me with recommendations for women's running shoes and women's underwear.

It's The Guardian, it's an opinion piece, and again, it's The Guardian, so I'm aware this isn't journalism on 3 levels. But still bad: Do you boast about your fitness? Watch out – you’ll unavoidably become rightwing

By that standard, based on her photo, she's clearly not rightwing.

I had no idea who this person was, and upon googling her, it appears I have seen zero things she's been in. This hermit thing is going better than I expected.

Or require that voters had to be born in the lower 48 and all parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents were US citizens (tough luck for you, McCain and George Romney!). Sure. I don't see why not. And any "no welfare" rule would certainly encompass most farmers and ranchers.

The government would never make up allegations against a political enemy. They'd never do something like claim someone had hired a hitman to kill 6 people to smear them in a pending case and then never bring those charges.

When the guys engage in behavior specifically designed to attract those women, what a surprise, every woman they deal with is a borderline or narcissist. I wonder what th...
