If someone puts “he/them” in their bio, does that mean he wants to be referred to with masculine singular third-person pronouns in the nominative case but third-person plural pronouns in the accusative case, or that he’s a fucking moron? *Standard grylliade response to a limited, non-exclusive dich...

Re: Antivaxxers

Incidentally, there is one vaccine that boomers got that millennials and children nowadays do not get.

Any guesses what it is?

If you know what it is, you probably know why only a few people get it now.

Answer: Smallpox. We wiped it out by a world wide vaccination campaign.

That would be lovely if it were even marginally plausible. But we've already seen from two subsequent administrations that there is no political cost to forever war in Afghanistan, and Elizabeth Warren of all people is not going to spend political capital on foreign policy nor let the inevitable bl...

Tax cuts are a "sugar rush"? Growth in 14-15 was from a much lower starting point. Tax cuts into a steep deficit near the top of the business cycle is definitely a sugar rush. The articles I have seen point out that the Dems in North Carolina have pulled similar shenanigans in the past. Also, the GOP still have to get it through the NC Senate, which is doubtful.

A more fruitful attack for the Dems would be "Why weren't the supposedly patriotic Republicans at the memorial?"
