Re: Idiocracy is here

I really don't understand how advertising works. Everything about car dealership commercials screams DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER / CHANGE THE CHANNEL NOW! to me. But they continue to make stupid, annoying commercials so they must work.

Re: Random news finds

Something similar happened in Fargo when I was in college. A group of people wanted to rob a bank and knew that the alarm system for the bank was routed through a bundle of wires running under a bridge. Re: Home $weet Home

I put a replacement heating element in the dishwasher about 2 years ago. It must have been slightly higher heat output than the original because it melted a small hole in the bottom. I have been patching it with caulk, marine caulk, and lastly 2-part epoxy for the last year. The epoxy must have let ...

Re: Guns and Whatnot.

Minnesota third grader pulls the trigger on a liaison officer's gun in school. Observations: Level 3 holster specific to that gun should have a trigger guard that would not allow this to happen. Perhaps the occifer should take some situational awareness training. Why do we need armed occifers in ele...

Re: Roolz of the Rode

As a person who drives a large 4WD F150 with a smol penis, THERE IS NO REASON FOR GOING THAT FUCKING SLOW. Kindly get into the slow lane if you are that worried about a little snow or patches of ice. Also, if we are both in the left turn lane waiting for an opening, and a large enough opening comes ...

Re: Roolz of the Rode

Yeah, that's lucky that they didn't cream some family out for a morning ride. A little sunnier, maybe a little warmer, and now we're talking about "Mother injured and 2 children killed during morning bike ride." But hey, it's all good cause some people got to work maybe. My theory is that it is far...

I like mashed cauliflower. If you tart it up with enough roasted garlic, butter and cream cheese; it becomes tasty.

Textured Vegetable Protein is actually pretty good (well, it tastes like whatever you season it with) and is probably not made of people.

That's interesting. ... What are some examples of "moldy" meat varieties?
Salami
A white covering of either mold or flour helps prevent photo-oxidation of the meat and rancidity in the fat.
