Re: Spearfishing With Luke: The Last Jedi thread with spoilers!

FINALLY fucking saw it last night. I do wish that Johnson had hired someone to just work on plot a bit, because tighten that up, and the movie becomes much better. It's frustrating to realize that one of the plot lines is 100% bullshit that does NOTHING but get a few hundred people killed, and that ...

Could be that they're flushing "We don't know this is safe" water out of the system after the pipe repairs. To shorten the duration of the boil-your-water notice?

Revisiting Pilotwings on SNES. Always found it enjoyable but dammit, don't make me land in a crosswind if you're not going to give me proper control over *all* the control surfaces. Can't move the rudder independent of ailerons.

There's at least three more by my count.
Does he count as a man in KPAX?

I would say that the worse infraction is that she then lived with the patient. That's a pretty big nono in the psych field, isn't it? A one-off thing seems forgivable. But to my layman's understanding, that shows a much more sustained ethical breach.

conservatism was always more or less a polite veneer on racism in the domestic sphere. I tend to agree, and it's from years of watching conservatives engage with libertarians. When conservatives speak/write for themselves, they couch everything in terms of social institutions and a law abiding soci...

Marky Mark may be the bigger star but did you somehow miss the death of Heath Ledger and stuff dude? I mean I don’t expect you to know she is LV’s current spokesmodel but she’s extremely famous. I'm not a Movie Guy, I don't watch the oscars, and am a pretty good representation for "person who isn't...

Re: Mattingly, I thought I told you to trim those sideburns!

I pulled out my Norelco the other day, and it was not as good as a Mach III. Had to pull out the Old Spice (just the after-shave, which is probably a bottle I bought before they even started trying to be the New Axe) because my neck was burning. Maybe the blades are dull. How long has it bee settin...

After 7 years, I've gone back to clean-shaven. We'll see how long I can tolerate dealing with razors again. Are razors easier to deal with than Norelco? I saw a work van yesterday with this name on the side: "Mason's Plumbing." It makes me think of some family drama between dad and his 16 year old son: "As long as you are my son, you are going to be a bricklayer!" "No way! All I want to be is a plumber! If I can't be that and be your son at the sam...

Nomorobo has made my phone usable again. I just wish they were allowed to block numbers spoofed to look like they're on the same exchange as you.
