Re: No touching! - sexual impropriety thread

In response to the line of discussion last articulated by Highway, lunchstealer and Dangerman: I can't find it online, but this reminds me of the SNL sketch about proper office conduct where they were doing a Goofus and Gallant type comparison between Chris Parnell and some super handsome guest of ...

Re: No touching! - sexual impropriety thread

There's a line between 'I can explain why you shouldn't' and 'creepy/gross' that turns into a motte and bailey. I can tell a friend, 'don't touch people you just met, even if it's in a friendly way, it's about personal space'. I can't seem to get people to define 'creepy' beyond "I don't like that"...

Three hours at the dentist getting two broken teeth ground down, and as I'm driving home one of the temporary crowns pops right off.
Ugh. Did they send you home with cement? Do you have time to run back to the dentist's to get it re-set?

Holy shit but Facebook's video interface is fucked up. Just about every streaming video format will pause if you tap in the middle of the video. They usually have a function in a corner of the frame that will expand the video to a larger size or full screen. Facebook reverses those. What the actual ...

It is pretty great. Had to look up bobcat reference tho I didn't even know there was a reference... I googled and I still don't know. I bet is some social media thing. Mo mentioned upthread that it's a reference to an escaped bobcat from the National Zoo. Trigger Warning: Kitty Misfortune (but most...

I can't imagine this is new, and I seem to remember (but it might be an incepted memory) of similar stories among the players in the near end-game of the 00's housing/credit bubble. I'm pretty sure they weren't 'just' models and went whole hog with ladies of the night. This I suspect I did witness,...

In a similar vein, Outlook on my work computer suddenly started refusing to open except in "safe mode". As the famous haiku goes, Yesterday it worked. Today it is not working. Windows is like that. Mine is like that except it's Chrome. And now Firefox. And instead of only opening in safe mode, they...

I've lived in Atlanta long enough to note the local youth fashions and can confirm: yes, that's definitely the wrong underwear for those shorts. The current style calls for your underwear to stick out at least six inches above the waistband, and it looks like you've barely got three, there. Really?...
