Ah. My information was based on WWII formulations. The whole thing about gas-powered Shermans going up like Zippos while diesel-powered tanks often gave their crews more time to escape.

Re: Observations of the Random sort

Diesel doesn't vaporize the way gasoline does, so a spark near an open container won't ignite a mixture of fuel vapor and air/oxygen the way it would if you were filling with gasoline. I know kerosine is actually pretty difficult to ignite unless it's got a wick or some other mechanical aid. Suppose...

True Detective season 2 seems to hinge largely on a murder related to a corrupt land deal. Did the fact that a corrupt real estate deal is Lex Luthor's scheme in every Superman movie not give the producers pause during development?
Also literally the entire plot of the Clinton presidency?

https://twitter.com/WillSloanEsq/status/919648939451863042 I read that as "Bronyphiles", I'm just wondering how in heck a "Brosnanphile" is even a thing. I didn't even notice till now, assuming it was "Bronsonphile" which, while it wouldn't have a connection with this movie, makes a lot more sense....

After listening to the Coloradans on here brag about it, I made Colorado Green Chili with tomatillos and Anaheim peppers from my garden. I specifically grew the tomatillos just for this dish. I was also excited to learn that Hatch peppers are just another name for Anaheims. And I already had Anahei...

The Aviation Herald: http://avherald.com/ Basically it summarizes incidents in aviation, which usually aren't big enough to make the mainstream news. But it gives you a pretty good idea of how common aviation incidents are. For example, here's everything listed yesterday: Mount Cook AT72 near Duned...
