There are probably still some good reasons to keep some threads behind the veil, but I'm thinking keeping prying government eyes away ain't one of them and hasn't been for a long time now.
I believe our records are kept on the "Mostly Harmless" drive.

Re: Podcasts - Watcha listening to?

Andrew Sullivan is quite the catch for the 5thC, but his was a very boring episode. They spent half the time talking about teh gayz. And then at the end about Roman Catholic Church. Two topics I've heard all I ever care to already. The immigration bit in the middle wasn't bad.

I don't usually read the comments on a news story but I'm really glad I did. " We have a saying down south, when a kid is throwing a tantrum in public: "If that was my kid, I'd beat them." I mean obviously not, like.. beat them. If Trump was my kid, I'd beat him " I'd beat his mother. https://www.y...

She killed herself. This is not one of the ones you just leave alone. She was in a deep deep crisis and there was legitimate cause for fear this time. Right. So why the cruel dig on her parents? The post was made before cause of death was announced, and given that there was a huge SWAT presence up ...

From the staff meeting minutes about last Sunday's church service: The reading of the Passion was excellent, especially [parishioner's name] as Pilot. Was he doing pilates at the time? I tried doing Pilates once, but the scarring was atrocious. Reading these lowbrow puns has taken time off my life....

The more I think about it, the more I'm routing for The Knight King.

The whole system is corrupt. Burn it all down. Kill everybody. Everybody undies. Then they all unlive forever in peace with no wars or famine.

The Dany-Sam conflict is completely unnecessary.
It leads directly to Jon learning his true parentage.
Plus, all scenes with Sam are worth watching.

Perhaps. But I believe HnR started around 01. The Grylliade was what? I want to say 05. So we've got a few years before we're older than HnR at it's passing.

I dug the hugging and dialogue stuff. The dragon ride was too padded out for my taste.

The rescue of Yara Greyjoy was enjoyably violent. The incineration of the undead was more disturbingly violent than I care for.

As for the sex, it was unsatisfying.

I didn't watch the video because I'm old and cranky and hate videos on the internet, but I'm reminded of how The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo begins with the main guy character going to prison and taking his laptop with him so he can write a book while he's in there. I was boggled at how different S...
