A great idea, although the execution was not as funny as I wanted it to be.

I'm just still stuck on "Don't waste eggs." How exactly does he think ovulation works? There's a "release egg now" button on the cervix and the wang pushes it while you're boinking?

Re: To Infinity War and Beyond: the MCU Thread with Spoilers

I'm a few episodes in to season 2 of Iron Fist and it's surprisingly decent so far. Danny is not the massively self-centered whining wang he was before. Colleen is particularly well written and acted; she's a tough and principled woman in a way that feels realistic and likeable. (She's also super du...

Amazon Prime just recommended a design show called Great Taste, No Money but I totally read it the other way around -- lots of money, no taste -- and damned if I don't want to watch the hell out of that show.

I"m confused -- who didn't like that he was a creepy, sadistic guy? I mean, he killed his mom and had sex with her head. Doesn't get much creepier. But he was also a really likeable guy in real life, and I was so impressed that the actor managed to make both aspects believable.

I hadn't heard of that show before. Bill Hader AND Stephen Root? Two of my favorite people ever! (On the other hand, dark comedy isn't usually my thing ... )

I don't know if I have ever before genuinely used the word "triggering" but I couldn't watch more than a few episodes because my teenage depression was SERIOUSLY bound up in weird quasi-Catholic ideas about guilt and hell, and this show actually triggers that again for me. Which sucks, because it's ...

Re: To DVDs and Beyond: The Netflix Thread

It has excellent casting for the killers. Especially Cameron Britton as Kemper. He does rational but disturbingly off quite well. I didn't like the show, but I agree wholeheartedly with this. His performance was great. You can totally buy him as insane enough to grotesquely murder people and defile...

I think (timely hot take here) racism against Middle Eastern and Muslim people definitely got worse after 9/11/2001. Other than that, team JasonL/Kwix.

I think Jasper and Eric are both agreeing with each other but coming from different tones (or levels of sarcasm or something) so it seems like you're clashing. Don't clash! You're on the same side! :)

In my internet travels, I have been down the carnivore diet rabbit hole almost all the way to the bottom. Eating only meat and salt is considered the most "pure." Some groups "allow" cheese and eggs and spices. Coffee is virtually always handwaved as something you can have no matter what. There are ...

I'm sure there are some people who do really prefer the feel of larger rooms -- or want them for specialized pursuits like juggling; I bet Jadagul longs for a four-story-high room so his girlfriends can practice their nude aerialist tango or something ;) ;) ;) -- but by a large degree, most people w...

Ha!

If only I'd had the creative juice to contribute to our writing. We could be millionaires now. Either that, or real life would have been more bonkers than anything we came up with, and all our scripts would be superfluous.

I inherited Buffalo Bills fandom from my mom's side of the family, so obviously I think the Music City Miracle was a TRAVESTY. David disagrees. Somehow we started arguing about it AGAIN last night. And because I am extremely mature and cool-headed, I acknowledged he might have some good points threa...
