Really nice work, Tuco. If I rode western, I might be interested. In my lifelong quest to become a better horseman, I once traded out some horseshoeing for dressage lessons. I’m including this here because it sorta fits. Just keep in mind, this dude has more influence over the president than basically anyone not in his family.

Re: Petty annoyances

Thanks for all the nice words, all of you all. Those really are amazing, Tuco. How do you actually make them, though? By which I mean -- for things like the butterfly boots, is it a thing where you buy blue, red and yellow leather, cut them into pieces and then stitch them together, or is that one p...

Nice tooling. Thank you. You're welcome. I like that it works as Día de Muertos and also Deadhead attire. Your maker's mark is more prominent than I would normally approve of, but perhaps there's a reason for that on this pair. Were they made on commission? Why are all your heals proud? Does that a...

They have, but not within reach of an artisan's budget.
Sutton E might be more finicky than a Landis. They're all like diesel pickups, sound like they're worn out when they're running right.

Re: Petty annoyances

I make boots. I have a number of sewing machines. They make my brain hurt.

After sewing soles on by hand for years and years, I finally got a Landis 12, and it is now the most frustrating thing in my life. Keeping in mind that I have three mules.

A couple of weeks ago, I dreamt that someone I know in Nevada called to say he was coming down to visit soon. Not a good dream. Way too mundane. So two days ago, I got to wondering when he was coming, so I called him to ask. That was a bizarre conversation.
